For most people that swing by here on a semi-regular basis, you know that the content is usually social, political, economic, etc. Rarely do I focus mainly on the personal side of things. However, this post is slightly different as it relates to Pluto in Capricorn and how it is impacting my life. Pluto has just recently dipped into my second house and almost on cue, my marriage of six years has come to an end. I'll skip the personal autopsy (for now) and speak to how this transit relates overall and to me specifically.

As we have noted throughout this planetary shift, Pluto breaks down, then re-builds in whatever sector in ones chart it falls. For me, in my chart, it's my second house, the one most closely connected to resources, security, money, psychological foundations, root chakra issues, comfort and so on.

For the past year, ever since my corporate gig went away, I have been struggling to find balance as a stay-home-dad and a bustling blogger. My wife has been blessed with excellent management and leadership skills and has parlayed them into a an executive position with a Fortune 100 company, so money wasn't as much of an issue as it could be under other circumstances. But due to my inability to strike a balance, along with those all-too-familiar irreconcilable differences we are parting ways. It's impacting me on so many levels that I don't have the space, nor the hubris to think that the world is that invested in my story. But I share this only in that it relates to how Pluto is taking a wrecking ball at my personal foundation, my connection to my family, resources and in some ways, security. I knew that this would come on some level, so I did my best to calmly prepare for this day.

So in the midst of the greatest economic downturn in history, I will be faced with leaving my home and re-entering the work force. This is where Pluto in Capricorn is initiating me into deeper levels of personal security and ultimately sovereignty. So while I will still look at the big picture in nearly all of my posts, from this point forward though, I will check in on the personal level every now and then with reports from the front lines of Pluto in Capricorn.
