Crisis? What crisis?
Well Obama is back in the news–this time for taking his shirt off–I think he’s confusing transparency with lack of apparel. Anyway, this recent photo opp in Hawaii reminds me of a brief email echange I had with astrologer, Emily Trinkhaus. Emily briefly touched upon Obama as hero as he relates to The Piscean Age and she’s planning on exploring this further and deeper at some point. I’m looking forward to seeing what she comes up with.
Back when Obama was squaring off against McCain/Palin, I wrote a post about his first shirtless moment. It was really the first time that I and many others became aware of Obama. He was like a Neptunian projection, emerging from the ocean of our collective unconscious. I related it back to his birth chart and my own rectification of his birth time and rising (which I believe is Scorpio), which would have Neptune in Scorpio right on his ascendant. The new shirtless pics seem to reflect this, as he projects, yet again the Neptunian persona during a time where his COS, Rahm Emmanuel is wrestling with his more than casual connection with embattled governor, Rod Blagojevich, just a mere two degrees of separation away from the next president. The new pics are an attempt to create a sense of renewal, signaling and recalling the first time we saw Obama rise up, shining, clean and glistening, a gift from the watery deities of the deep. The pictures are a trigger and a calculated one at that. They serve as tools of entrainment to recalibrate our original response to those first, powerful images that announced Barack Obama to the world.
Timing is everything as they say, and it’s also no coincidence that we are beamed these pictures during the time where the church celebrates the messiahs birth, layered over pagan celebrations and return of The Sun, reinforcing the uber-religious personification of Obama as a mytho-poetic hero.

I’m being facetious here, but as I read this, I was reminded of Ursula Andress emerging from the sea in Doctor No – as Honey Ryder. 🙂
Obama has always brought Neptune to mind for me too – but they now say his ascendant is Aquarius (7.24 pm birth) – even then though I think there’s still some astrological connection with Neptune. At first I thought it a “bad thing”, but I’ve reconsidered. It’s just as likely to be “a good thing”, at the very least “a neutral thing”.
Just dropping by to bring compliments of the season, and wish joy and peace to you and yours. 🙂
