Did I mention it was Mercury Retrograde? It’s not alone. With Saturn and Pluto also doing the cosmic tango in reverse, we have a ourselves a veritable menage-et-trois of bassackwardness. Just remember, Crowley said that if you want to understand the truth, then you need to learn to think backwards. Re-engineering social systems of influence and control takes some practice, an eye for detail and the risk of looking silly, but the rewards can be pretty rich, if not downright strange and entertaining, because when you have the largest group of educated workers in the modern era, sitting at cafes, sipping coffee and surfing the net, idle minds like to re-arrange the furniture in the holodeck.

Learning to think backwards, we hold a mirror up to the pundits on Sunday morning and their words reveal themselves in reverse. Whatever they’re saying, you can simply turn-it-around, infer the opposite and you’ll get the message. So, it’s time to look backwards, just a little. It’s time to look at Scott Brown, D, Massachusetts, the pick-up driving, former male model that bested a Dem for Teddy Kennedy’s seat in the senate, where his hallowed and widening fanny sat for decades.

People were aghast when Brown beat Martha Coakley, the local Dem drafted to replace Kennedy. They blamed the defeat of Coakley on Obama, those nasty Tea Baggers, the karmic payback for the world series that roided up Red Sox like Big Papi and Manram stole. All hell was going to break loose and Health Care would NEVER pass and Scott Brown would cock block any bill thrown down by The Dems. Pair Scott Brown with Sarah Palin and you get the Ken and Barbie of the republican doll party. Kinda scary isn’t it?

But lo, if we step back and look back at Scott Brown’s recent voting record, he’s voted in accordance with The Dems and Barack Obama. He voted for a watered down version of “The Jobs Bill” and also voted to extend unemployment. He’s still on record as being pro-choice. The conservative core of the repub side, the Tea Bagers are getting restless with Brown as he has sought to distance himself from them, since his populist putsch landed him in D.C..

Should we be at all surprised?

Scott Brown did what others have done before him to get elected. He was vetted and approved by AIPAC. The blog, Solomania has covered Brown in depth since his election and it is clear that his position is neoconical and sounds a lot more like George Bush than Cynthia McKinney, or even Ron Paul for that matter. Brown was stamp approved by the most powerful lobby in Washington, D.C.. Did I mention that he owns five homes, including one in Aruba? Scott Brown, with cozy ties to the defense industry, blessed by AIPAC, with lots of mortgages and loans, is as far from a grass roots populist as you can get. While he never claimed to bleed tea green, he certainly didn’t disabuse anyone of the notion that he might just dump some sippin’ herb into Back Bay out the window of his pick-up, on the way to Washington. In essence, Scott Brown is just another pol, using his good looks and DNA to get a seat at the table, especially if that table might be two miles beneath the surface of The Earth, for when the shift hits the fan. He’s like a younger version of Mitt Romney with more human looking ears.

Thinking “Mass Backwards” let’s take a peep at the planets in Senator Brown’s chart.

Scott Brown was born on September 12th, 1959. Hold it right there. September TWELFTH, 1959. Does anyone find it remotely interesting that he was born the day after nine eleven? Scott Brown is “The Hanged Man” as his the seat for Kennedy’s vacated spot in the senate, hung in balance. Does his 9/12 birthdate signal a subconscious, symbolic, trigger to get past and move beyond 9/1? Like most public figures, it is getting harder and harder to find birth times for them and even when we can, as in the cases of Obama, McCain and even Palin, we’re still not in agreement over either time or even place. Interestingly enough, Scott Brown, has yet to produce a long form birth certificate. Who are these people anyway? Where do they come from?

Can we even trust the birth dates? It makes it hard work for us astrologers.

Scott-Brown

Let’s say that we can trust that 9/12/59 birth date. What can we make of his chart?
The first thing that pops is Brown’s stellium in Virgo: Sun, Mercury, Venus and Pluto. Transiting Pluto is currently trining both Venus and Pluto. Scott is into power relationships and power brokering. Pluto trine pluto gives him that midlife, extreme sense of purpose. He’s willing to tap into his power base on many different levels. Does the trine with both planets mean that he will tap into them at all cost?

He will demonstrate a natural subservience with his Virgoan stellium, acquiescing to more powerful forces that can assist him in is political ascent. He will naturally prove that he is indispensable with his Virgoan sense of commitment, showing allegiance at every turn, so that somewhere down the line, allegiance and privilege might be granted to him as a result. Based on the stellium alone, Scott Brown is anything but a rebel. I hope I don’t upset Virgos out there, but he’ll do what he is told.

Lyndon Johnson, arguably one of the worst presidents of our time, was also a Virgo. Tragically, he listened to Kennedy’s wise men and Robert McNamara far too often, escalating The Vietnam War, only to be told before he left office that it was not a winnable war by the very same people who had encouraged him to step it up.

Pluto will creep up on Brown’s Mercury and his Sun, but not in time for 2012. However, for 2016, if we’re all still here and playing this same game, Pluto will form a very tight trine to his natal Sun and Mercury, channeling more force and intensity to both planets. It will give him six, solid years to prove how malleable he is and thus, qualified he is to run as president.

Pluto currently sits just a few degrees off of his natal Saturn in Capricorn at 0 degrees. With Saturn situated so early and potently in Capricorn, Scott Brown isn’t going away anytime soon. Saturn in Cap is tenacious and that early degree is typified by the Sabian symbol for it: An Indian Chief Claims Power From An Assembled Tribe. That’s exactly what Scott Brown did with the tea partiers. The “Brown” man claimed his power. Pluto is infusing him with a battery of ambition.

Saturn is getting ready to move back across his natal Mars at 3 degrees Libra. Saturn will tamp down his need for justice for all, typified by Mars in that sign. Saturn makes Mars in this instance less strident and rights driven, tempering it with more patience and the long view. Scott Brown will be keeping a list of all the people he’s helped during this time and his natal Saturn, in relation to his transiting Pluto and transiting Saturn and natal Mars will attest to that. Somewhere down the line, he’ll cash in. But these two major players are squaring off against one another and not all is hunky dory in his world and in fact, the seemingly controlled placement of this faux maverick might actually backfire in his and the political establishment’s face.

I scanned around the net a great deal and already, there is a growing disaffection towards Brown amongst constitutional and rights based voters. They are being given a glimpse of how a manufactured candidate like Brown can quickly be inserted into the mix and flip his votes with a casual nonchalance, knowing that he is covered by the elite that helped him achieve his position. This rapidly growing sense of cynicism could backfire big time when they try to insert Sarah Palin into the American Monarchy.

Did I mention that Brown has a Capricorn Moon? Cool and detached, he’ll get it done–whatever it is.

What we saw in Massachusetts, during Brown’s defeat of Coakely is modern American politics at work, cleverly ruthless, pitting two candidates that will potentially serve their masters well against one another, while a gnawing sense of helplessness presses closer against the people that foolishly believed that Scott Brown was somehow going to be different.

There is a website that covers all kinds of prophecy and they think that Brown might actually be a character in one of Nostradamus’ quatrains, which points to him as being some sort of culture hero. The video below covers that highly suspect notion.

  2. Like Kajagoogoo and Mr. Mister before him, Scott Brown will likely be a one-hit wonder. Though I could see him as a future candidate to be governor. Scott Brown won because lifelong Mass democrats refused to vote for Croakley. Been reading all kinds of articles about how Coakley was the chariot driver of a politically-motivated prosecution of a prominent Massachusetts family in the eighties. Wish I could remember the name but the case screamed of trumped-up charges meant to settle political vendettas and advance the career of the prosecutor (coakley)

With that, and the Democrats full-throated swallowing of corporatist cu… Contributions… I feel Brown won due to a protest vote.
