The full moon is exalted this month in Taurus.
The dynamic tension between Psyche and Eros is played out in the heaven as manifested in the erotic tug-of-war of Scorpio and Taurus. With The Sun, Mercury and Mars all in Scorpio opposing The Moon in various degrees of it’s 36 hour fullness, expect some heavy action to go down in the realm of psycho-sexual role playing. Whether it’s in the bedroom or the boardroom, power plays loom large. The attraction/repulsion dynamic will be switched on to full effect. It will be fight, kiss and make up, fight some more and off to either separate beds or indescribable union.
There is current example in popular culture, which comes to mind and characterizes this opposition. It is the hit TV show, “My Own Worst Enemy” starring Christian Slater, who is an alter, a split personality, one that is a deadly and sexed up killer by night (Scorpio), and a loving, middle-class-dad, stably providing for his family (Taurus) by day. In true psychological fashion, these two selves represent the bi-cameral split and usually unacknowledged divide of the self. The urge towards order and security in Taurus moves in one direction and the uninhibited expression of the taboo, murder and violence in Scorpio moves in the other. This Janus-like projection is emblematic of our culture at large (although certainly an exaggerated version for most of us).
In addition to heavy Scorpio/Taurus energy getting played out, Capricorn has its stay and say in Jupiter and Venus, adding yet more earthy and Dionysian elements into the mix. Jupiter will trine The Moon in an almost on Thursday, when it reaches the zenith of its fullness. If there was ever a propitious time to move money, change money, buy or sell, there may never be a better six-hour-period for the rest of the year. Move up, trade out or get out. The Bull and The Goat, two of the most ancient symbols of fertility and abundance are yoked to the same purpose in the fullness of The Moon.

Is that bull holding a cup of wine or…is that…a…”symbol of fertility?”
Great imagery either way. Nice read, as always.
Hmmm. Good question. I suggest you get a similar chalice, fill it with your favorite wine, assume the position and see what comes up.
